Tealby has been described as the “most charming village in the Lincolnshire Wolds” so it is no surprise to find that it boasts a delightful and traditional hostelry, The Olde Barn.
As the name suggests, it was originally built as a barn, some 400 years ago and the locally quarried stone, now painted white, provides a pleasant backdrop to the well kept gardens. In the good weather, customers can relax here with their refreshments on the terrace; in the winter, a roaring log fire in the restaurants inglenook fireplace creates a cosy, welcoming atmosphere.
The extensive menu has something for every palate, ranging from a large selection of nibbles, through to grills, poultry, meat and fish dishes, as well as bar snacks, vegetarian choices and a children’s menu. We also serve a choice of two different roast dinners (subject to availabilty) and a homemade vegetarian nut roast on a Sunday between 12:00pm and 9:00pm.
All meals are freshly prepared to order and you can enjoy them either in the comfortable lounge or up the few steps to our restaurant with its vaulted ceiling.
A choice of 2 hand pulled beers has earned The Olde Barn Inn a prestigious Pub of the Season award from CAMRA, and the bar is stocked with a comprehensive range of other alcoholic and soft drinks, which includes an extensive range of Champagne, Prosecco, Gin’s and Ciders
Open daily from 12:00 PM. Food served everyday until 9:00 PM
